MAC & Carine Roitfeld collection

I oktober lanserar MAC ett samarbete med den före detta chefredaktören för franska Vouge, Carine Roitfeld. Kollektionen kommer här i Sverige att lanseras exklusivt på Åhléns city i Stockholm, och fokus ligger på produkter i neutrala toner för att skapa en perfekt “no makeup”-look.

Carine Roitfeld elevated the smoky eye to an art form. For her M·A·C collaboration, Carine edits her look into a collection of chic colours and tools for recreating her aesthetic. Full Face Kit contain four Eye Shadows and Cremeblend Blush, Eye Brows in Brunette, Kohl Power Eye Pencil, Fluidline, 49 Lash and two Mascaras. Tropical Mist Lipstick, Face and Body Foundation, Mineralize Concealer, Nail Lacquer and Brushes create the perfect backdrop for dramatic eyes.

Vi ser flera permanenta produkter i den här kollektionen, som till exempel blacktrack fluidline och bästa svarta pennan Feline. Det som lockar mig mest däremot är face kiten och läppstitet. Vad jag däremot inte kan förstå är hur MAC kan sälja de små stjärnmallarna för 165 kr(?!), det är kort och gott små klistermärken som du fäster på huden för att använda som mall för att måla perfekta stjärnor. Dom borde följa med som GWP, skärpning MAC…



In English: In october, MAC launches their collaboration with Carine Roitfeld here in Sweden, and the collection will be sold exclusively at Åhléns city in Stockholm. There are mostly products with neutral colours to create a nude, barely there makeup. I’m most tempted by the face kits and the lipstick. I do however find it ridiculous that the good luck star stencils are sold at that steep of a price, it’s basically stickers that you use on your skin as stencils. These should be a GWP product – too greedy, MAC!
